One of the companies in my building is developing a very cool little app for iPod/iPod Touch/Mac that could be a Skype killer. Named whistlephone, this app allows you to make calls from your iPod/iPod Touch/Mac using just the internet, and it has a bunch of very cool features like being able to forward calls to your devices even when you have no internet access.
