Icon Dock – Sleek Icons

I’m a web developer, so I’m often on the lookout for good icon resources, whether I’m going to be using them for my job job or for my iDesign business. When I was looking over some jQuery resources, I stumbled upon a site that a very legit jQuery developer had just launched, called...

So I’ve been reading a few articles on Video Games recently that I thought were very funny (mainly this one), and it got me thinking. When I am playing Halo 3, there are moments when I just get sooo angry, and it usually revolves around a few generic things happen that are not necessarily game specific. So without further adieu,

Jay Cutler, What A Pussy

Turns out you can’t always trust your teammates to have your back. In an interview this morning on KAFN Minnesota sports talk, Bobby Wade spoke out about Brian Urlacher’s feelings on Jay Cutler, saying that he met Urlacher in Vegas and that Urlacher said he thought Jay Cutler “was a pussy”.

Of course, the Urlacher drama finally comes full circle. Urlacher can’t handle not being the most popular player in Chicago anymore, so he has to attack his new teammate, who could possibly be the savior of his career. I mean, if I got an awesome player on my team, my first thought is obviously to attack his manliness and credibility. Give me a break Urlacher. You’re still the pseudo-leader of the defense, and “savior” (dubbed by Chicagoans)

Steve McNair Homicide – Reflections

So looking to start a new segment today after not posting for a while….we’re gonna call this “Reflections”. Basically when a major news event happens and I want to analyze it after the fact, or when more complete information has been released, I’ll do this in a segment now dubbed, Reflections.

Reflections on McNair murder/suicide.

Yes, Steve McNair was a great quarterback. Yes, Steve McNair was a well respected member of the Tennessee community, and as the announcer for Titan’s football (as heard on 670 The Score Chicago around 9:45am) put it, “One of the founding father’s of football in Tennessee.” However, the way that I think he will be remembered is as a man who was cheating on his wife, and who gave in to the desire of lust that led him down an eventual road to his death. A person’s legacy is possibly one of the most important things in life, and all of McNair’s great stats and contributions to the community will be overlooked because he was found killed with his 20 year old girlfriend, who he had bought a condo for,

Blackhawks Sign Marian Hossa

Breaking News: The Chicago Blackhawks continue to make a splash in free agency by signing Marian Hossa to a 12yr deal worth about 62.4 million.

Hossa had 40 goals and 31 assists last year with the Red Wings, although he didn’t play very well during the playoffs (15 points total over 23 games). Hopefully this means Havlat will be bye-bye since they probably won’t have cap room to keep him.

Ben Gordon Going To Detroit?

So I have just confirmed reports that Ben Gordon is on his way to Detroit to meet with management, where hopefully (::fingerscrossed::) he will be traded. Since Gordon was considered as somewhat productive last season, hopefully we can shop him around and get something good, but if Detroit offers us something worthwhile I think it would be worth it to get rid of him here and now, considering free agency opens today.

On a personal note, I can’t WAIT for the Bulls to trade Ben Gordon. I think he’s a selfish player who holds on to the ball much too long and takes low probability shots consistently. He does give you game winning potential, but I think that potential is outweighed by how much he hurts you by throwing up bricks consistently.

Thanks to 670 The Score Chicago for breaking the story.
